Man Ray is a legend. A tireless experimenter with photographic techniques who co-founded the Dadaist and Surrealist Art movements, he also created a new photographic art that emphasized chance effects and surprising juxtapositions. This superb collection of avant-garde still lifes, surrealist portraits, and camera-less prints or "rayographs" from the 20's and 30's is evidence of his dazzling innovation.
