My First Book of... Animal ABC & Numbers

This charming book will introduce children to both the alphabet and the world of animals, as well as teaching numbers from one to twenty.
Each letter of the alphabet is illustrated with an animal whose name begins with that letter and specially written verses accompany each illustration. Each number is also illustrated and there are verses next to each picture to read aloud and questions at the end of the book to test what has been learnt.
The beautiful drawings are the work of Margaret Tarrant, a leading illustrator of children's books in the 1920s and 1930s.
