Joseph Conrad was a Polish-British writer regarded as one of the greatest novelists to write in the English language. Under Western Eyes is a story of Razumov, who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a revolutionary conspiracy when he gives refuge to a fellow student who assassinated a public official.
